We’ve been voted “Best Jewelry Store in the Brazos Valley” 17 years and counting, and in 2019, David Gardner was inducted into National Jeweler’s Retailer Hall of Fame. Our store has been nationally recognized by InStore Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Coolest Stores in America.”

In January 2018, the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History hosted “Diamonds are Forever,” a tribute dinner at Miramont Country Club honoring David and Julia Gardner for their outstanding support of the arts community.

College Station’s own Julia and David Gardner ’78 were inducted into National Jeweler’s 2019 Retailer Hall of Fame in the category of Single-Store Independent in New York, New York on Sunday, July 28, 2019. National Jeweler’s “Retailer Hall of Fame,” first introduced in 1989, recognizes jewelers who have inspired their peers and made significant contributions to jewelry retailing.

The Girl Scouts of Central Texas honored local fine jewelry store, David Gardner’s Jewelers with their prestigious “Workplace of Distinction” Award at the 2017 Women of Distinction banquet at Miramont Country Club in Bryan. A Workplace of Distinction is selected for its support and encouragement of women’s leadership and success.

The Arts Council of the Brazos Valley awarded its highest honor, the D.A. “Andy” Anderson Award to Julia and David Gardner, September 2017,

Julia and David have also been named Citizens of the Year by the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce and recipients of the Newman 10 Award.
